Updates

  • We welcome Miss Megan Thornbury to our school who is teaching in Year 4, C15.
  • Congratulations to our Interschool Swimming Team who last Friday won the  title. Attending on the day, I was very impressed with the level of sportsmanship and resilience displayed by the team. A big Thanks to Mrs White, Mrs Young and Miss Sainsbury for dedicating their time to hold morning training sessions in the lead up to the event.
  • The WA Education Awards are open – For more information, see the attached flyer or visit https://www.education.wa.edu.au/wa-education-awards

Reminders

  • Kindy enrolments for 2019 close in July, please fill in an application if your child is eligible to start Kindy next year.
  • The P&C Obstacle Relay is only two weeks away. If you are able to volunteer on the day, there is a sign-up sheet next to the canteen.
  • NAPLAN testing begins on Tuesday, next week. We are encouraging our year 3 and 5 children to do their best as we would with any other school activity. If your child is in year 3 or 5, please ensure they are here on time so they have the best opportunity to do their best.  If you would like to find out more about the testing program, please contact your child’s classroom teacher.
  • Semester one progress reports will be going out via Connect at the end of this term.
  • On Wednesday 13th June, we will be holding a Cyber Safety Seminar for parents at 6.00pm here at school. More information will go out closer to the date.

Enjoy the lovely weather this weekend.
